Vision Statement

She is Women Success & Empowerment Foundation envisions a world where every woman, from young girls to those overcoming adversity, is empowered to achieve her highest potential. We aim to create lasting change by fostering a supportive community that encourages growth, healing, and empowerment. Our vision is to transform urban communities by guiding young girls into strong, focused women who lead with purpose and create enduring legacies, while uplifting
and restoring those who are broken. Through collaborative efforts, resources, and continuous support, we aspire to inspire generations of women who will positively impact their communities, society, and the world.

How it started

The She is Women Success & Empowerment Foundation was born out of a profound desire to address the unique challenges faced by women in urban communities. Our founder, inspired by her own journey of overcoming adversity and achieving success, recognized the importance of having a strong support system and access to resources. She  envisioned an organization that would provide women with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities needed to thrive.

Our journey began with a small group of dedicated volunteers who shared a common passion for empowering women. Through grassroots efforts, we started by organizing workshops, mentorship programs, and community events aimed at building confidence and skills. As word spread and our impact grew, so did our network of supporters and partners who believed in our mission.

Today, the foundation stands as a beacon of hope and strength for countless women and girls. We continue to expand our programs, forging partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and educational institutions to maximize our reach and effectiveness. Together, we are creating a ripple effect of empowerment that extends beyond individual lives, touching families, neighborhoods, and entire communities.

What’s in the Name

SHE signifies the essence of being a woman, a life-giver who can be easily identified…FEMALE, SHERO etc. The phrase "I am" stands out as one of the most potent expressions in human history. To truly experience an "I am" moment, we must first establish a strong foundation of self-awareness and self-love. By consistently promoting self-love, we are able to love others appropriately and responsibly. This is how the concept of "She IS" was conceived.

Strengthening, healing, and evolving as women is a responsibility we embrace for both ourselves and our community. For some, speaking affirmatively about oneself might feel unnatural and uncomfortable. However, we owe it to ourselves and to the young women we mentor to recognize our inherent worth so that we can have healthy, authentic relationships with the women within us.

To confidently say "She IS" followed by any positive, affirming, supportive, or empowering adjective that validates our existence is paramount. Only then can we fully embody the powerful assertion of "I am" & "She IS" inspires women and girls from various backgrounds to realize, activate, and utilize their full potential. Our aim is to assist our community of women in expanding upon basic soft skills, developing confidence and courage, fostering critical thinking,
promoting self-love and community love, and nurturing their talents, gifts, trades, and efforts to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives.
